Mountain “Overland Track” Trek
The classic bushwalk through the Cradle Mountain
and Lake St Clair National Park
The Overland track is Australia’s premier
extended bushwalk. The Cradle Mountain Lake St
Clair National Park is renowned for its beauty,
featuring abundant wildlife, rare and unusual
vegetation and dramatic scenery. Starting at Waldhiem,
situated beneath Cradle Mountain, we head south
for the Wilderness Adventure of a lifetime.
We follow a moderate graded trail for 70kms finishing
our journey with a ferry crossing of Lake St Clair.
We allow seven days, averaging of 12km per day,
to walk the track so as to best appreciate highlights
and side trips along the way. Passing Lakes and
mountains such as Barn Bluff, Pelion West, Mountain
Oakleigh and the Geryons we savour this wild remote
area in the company of our small independent group.
No special skills are necessary
to walk the Overland Track although a good level
of general fitness is required. Our schedule will
permit time to visit the summits of some of the
highest mountains in Tasmanian, possibly even
Mount Ossa Tasmania’s highest. Our experienced
guides will help to bring the track alive for
you with their local knowledge and enthusiasm
for the Tasmanian Wilderness.

The Walls
Circuit
Exploratory bushwalking through pristine wilderness
in the Walls of Jerusalem National Park
The Walls of Jerusalem National Park is situated
a stones throw to the East of the Cradle Mountain
Lake St Clair National Park. The Walls of Jerusalem
National Park is a must see for anyone wanting
to experience a remote Wilderness area unlike
any other in Tasmania, scattered with Lakes, Tarns,
Mountains and delicate alpine scenery.
A walker’s paradise, as the most outstanding
features of the park can only be reached by foot.
Spending two nights on our camping platforms below
King David’s peak allows us to explore the
highlights of the main walls area climbing mountains
like Mt Jerusalem, The Temple and Solomon’s
throne as well visiting the Wailing Wall and Lake
Ball. Then with packs much lighter we head off
on exploratory walk taking in the other highlights
of the park such as the Lakes Adelaide and Myrtle
and if weather and time permit we will attempt
to climb Mount Rogoona.
The magnificent backdrop for our journey will
be the spectacular view of the mountains along
the Overland Track including Mt Ossa, Cradle Mountain
and Pelion East to name a few.

Frenchmans Cap Trek
Rising 1443m Frenchman’s cap towers
over the surrounding Franklin- Gordon Wild Rivers
National Park.
White Quartzite gives the appearance of permanent
snow cover on the peak. While cliffs rising 300m
dominate the south Eastern approach giving the
mountain form a distance the look of a traditional
Frenchman’s cap.
Our route takes us on a 50km circuit starting
from the Lyell Highway crossing the Franklin River
then through forests, button grass plains, alpine
terrain to Lake Tahune a beautiful round Tarn
directly beneath the towering Frenchman’s
Cap. From here weather and conditions allowing,
we will attempt to climb the Frenchman’s
Cap. From the top the views back towards Cradle
Mountain Lake St Clair and the West Coast make
the effort of this five-day Expedition well worth
it.
We will complete our walk by continuing our circuit
back to the Lyell Highway to be met by our waiting
bus.

South Coast
Track
Experience the true wilderness of the South
West National Park World Heritage area
Wild unspoilt wilderness, remote untouched beaches,
rugged mountain ranges, pristine rivers, quolls,
wombats, button grass plains, and towering rainforests.
The South Coast track originally an escape route
from Bathurst Harbour for shipwrecked sailors
now an escape route from the hustle and bustle
of modern life.
Our trip starts with a spectacular flight to
the small remote airstrip at Melaleuca. Then heading
east we traverse for 9 days 80kms along the South
Coast of Tasmania passing by South West Cape,
South cape and South East Cape along the way finishing
at Cockle Creek. Our generous time frame allows
for side trips, a complete rest day or time out
swimming, fishing or simply relaxing on an empty
beach.
We will walk 10-15kms per days carrying packs
up to 20kgs, no special skills are required other
than good pack carrying fitness and a open flexible
approach to being in remote areas for consecutive
days.
Amidst this truly wild area you will discover
a cultural landscape with a history of early pioneers
and indigenous Australians that is occupied by
an abundance of wildlife including Wombat’s,
Pademelons, quolls and the rare and endangered
Orange-bellied Parrot.

Port Davey
& South Coast Track
The ultimate expeditions in Tasmania’s
South West National Park World Heritage Area
There are few walks in Australia that could compare
to 16-day Port Davey South Coast track Expedition.
Starting out at Scotts Peak dam at the southern
end of Lake Pedder we head south Traversing beneath
the impressive Arthur Range through button grass
plains towards the Lost World Plateau.
Following the Spring River South we arrive at
Bathurst Narrows ready negotiate our last obstacle
before the leisurely walk into Melaleuca. We have
allowed extra time for side trips as well as a
safety back up for poor weather and river crossings.
Fully rested and resupplied we head south on the
South Coast track spending nine more days crossing
mountain ranges and wandering along deserted beaches.
As with the south coast track we finish this
epic expedition at the remote southern outpost
of Cockle Creek. This trip will only be offered
as an extension to those participating in our
South Coast Track Expedition

The Western Arthurs
Traverse
Located in the remote South West of Tasmania
the Western Arthur’s present one of the
worlds great bushwalking objectives. Our twelve
day itinerary allows us enough time to do a complete
traverse of the range with extra time for side
trips and in case of bad weather. · The
Western Arthurs traverse is described as the most
spectacular ridge walk in Australia, it is also
described as Tasmania’s most difficult walk.
The range is just 20kms long with over 25 major
peaks and 30 lakes.
Starting at Scott’s Peak Dam we trek via
The Port Davey Track, Moraine A, Mt Hayes, Lake
Oberon, Mt Pegusas, Haven Lake, Promontory Lake,
Lake Rosanne, Cracroft Crossing and then returning
to Scott’s Peak Dam Via the Arthur’s
Plains and Junction Creek. This Western Arthur’s
Traverse is an extremely demanding unsupported
bushwalk it may experience some of Tasmania’s
worst weather and conditions. The Tasmanian Expeditions
Western Arthur’s Traverse is open to people
with previous unsupported pack carrying bushwalking
experience, you would have walked The South Coast
Track or equivalent and be confident in difficult
geographical and weather situations. Please contact
