Ensuring a Complete Experience
The leader can make the difference between an
exceptional trip and a disappointing experience.
If clients are happy and satisfied then the job
as a leader will be much easier and enjoyable.
Satisfied clients mean repeat business repeat
business means more work.

essential that you have done some research.
Lead by example Guides should be patient, generous,
enthusiastic, happy and positive. The trip will
be directly affected by your actions and moods.
Be the first to cross-dangerous or unnerving obstacles
and return to help the members who lack the confidence.
Offer help when it is needed and take your fair
share of the unpleasant tasks for yourself. Work
with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Set high standards and don’t shortcut systems.
Treat people the way you like to be treated yourself.
Don’t undermine other staff or clients.
Professionalism Your presentation to the group
through appearance, voice, language, attitude
and (especially) enthusiasm are representative
